Mrs. Knoke joined MSM as a parent 6 years ago, became a classroom assistant for 2 years, and is now MSM's first Infant/Toddler teacher. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College, and her Montessori Infant/Toddler credential from the Institute for Advance Montessori Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in sports, crafts, gardening and music. Why does she believe in Montessori education? "From the moment I first observed a Montessori school (MSM) in 2008, I knew that there was something special about Montessori. The classrooms were quiet, the children were happy and there was an impressive self-driven desire to use the educational materials. Since then, I have studied the Montessori Method and continue to be amazed by its unique ability to educate the whole child in a peaceful, international, and outstanding way. It is a tailored education. Likewise, when you want a tailored suit, you go to the tailor and have one made to fit; when you want a tailored education, you go to a Montessori school. What you leave with is an education that will fit for life." "...the child is both a gift and a hope for mankind." - Maria Montessori
